The Reader is the newsletter of the Sacramento City College Learning Resource Center. Look for updates about materials and services from LRC departments – library, instructional media and academic computers, learning skills and tutoring, writing center, distance education, instructional development, and media productions.

This is a blog, so share your comments and insights. To reply to a post, click on the title. At the bottom of the post, fill in the form with your name and e-mail address. Then type the anti-spam string of random letters and numbers. (If you are a first time commenter, there may be a delay before your comments appear in the blog.)

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) allows you to subscribe to the updated content of websites, such as this blog, by collecting content in a single place. When a website or blog publishes an RSS feed, you can read the new posts in a feed reader, such as Google Reader and Bloglines. You can also set up your opening pages for My Yahoo! and iGoogle to display RSS feeds. You can find a list of ways to read RSS feeds here.
