Albert S. Rodda, for whom Rodda North and South were named, died on Saturday, April 3, at the age of 97.
A Sacramento City College history and economics instructor and a California State Senator from 1958-1980, Rodda worked on educational issues at the capital, especially issues related to funding.

According to Celebrating 90 Years, Rodda’s former teacher Howard Day remembered him as “a darn good student, one of the best.”
SCC will miss one of its best instructors and students.
