Time to enjoy a good book (or two)?

One of our favorite times of the semester is quickly approaching — finals week.  Yes, it’s true!

We love this time of year because we are able to remind students as well as faculty and staff that they can take a few minutes during this stressful week to plan for a few restful hours in the break between school terms catching up on some recreational reading.  Please take the opportunity to come to the library to check out one or two books to read over the break.  These books will be assigned a special due-date of June 9.

Here are a few titles that might interest you:

  • Solar by Ian McEwan
  • Point Omega by Don DeLillo
  • Without Mercy by Walter Mosley
  • Shadow Tag by Louise Erdich
  • This Time Together: Laughter and Reflection by Carol Burnett and
  • The Mystery of Lewis Carroll: Discovering the Whimsical, Thoughtful and Sometimes Lonely Man who Created Alice in Wonderland by Jenny Woolf.
