Who Needs Redbox?? A Student Point of View

Are you looking for something to do this weekend but want to stay home and chill?  Well, did you know that the Sac City College Learning Resource Center NOW OFFERS MOVIE YOU CAN CHECK OUT FOR FREE? Check one out to see how you like it. The movies are up to date, but if you’re looking for an older one for a class, the LRC might have it as well.

The King's Speech, Where the Wild Things Are, The Social Network

How does it work?  It’s fairly simple. The movies are on the first floor of the LRC.  All you have to do is search for the movie in LOIS, the library catalog, and write down the call number. After you have done that, hand your employee or student ID and the call number to the person working over the counter.

CHECK THIS OUT! THIS IS THE BEST PART! You can check out up to three movies and KEEP THEM FOR A WEEK!! Plus the LATE FEES ARE ONLY .50 CENTS PER DAY! Renting a movie from Redbox will cost you $1.20 and $1.00 for everyday it’s late. The movies here are FREE and will only cost you if they’re late. I do not know about you, but being a broke college student never seemed so good!
